Kisspeptin-10

Kisspeptin-10 is a 10-amino acid fragment of the kisspeptin protein, produced in the hypothalamus. It plays a crucial role in regulating reproductive functions by binding to the GPR54 receptor, which initiates a cascade of hormonal events essential for reproduction. Kisspeptin-10 is known to stimulate luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), thereby improving testosterone levels, ovulation, libido, and fertility. Additionally, it is recognized as a potent member of the kisspeptin peptide family, significantly influencing reproductive development.
